"Literally everything"? Please, show me one city in England that got totally destroyed by German troops. Show me one group of Brits that were killed just for being Brits/being educated/being religious. Tell me how many British people starved to death during that time. And, most importantly, tell me how Brits lost independence for further 45 years, which not only caused thousands of people to be imprisoned and killed for their love for freedom and fight for democracy, but also created a huge social and economical gap between them and their neighbors that were not offered to Stalin as a consolation prize. I know you sacrificed a lot in the war, that British soldiers were fighting and dying on the front, that the war would not have the same ending without them, and that British civilians suffered food shortages and some bombings, and for that we are grateful. But saying that you lost "literally everything" and justifying Yalta agreement with such a statement seems (from my, Polish perspective) quite inappropriate, sorry. Like, we lost A LOT - a great part of our cultural heritage, including entire cities, our freshly regained freedom and independence, millions of citizens, including what used to be nobility and so called "intelligentsia" (academics, doctors, lawyers and other highly educated groups), and a chance to be on par with "the West" ion terms of rebuilding our economy and infrastructure, resulting in a huge gap that will take at least a few more decades to be eliminated. But even we didn't lose everything. Just look a little further east, to Ukrainians who still have to fight with Russia for their independence, or think about Albania and the misfortune of them having the absolute, crazy bastard becoming the dictator there. You certainly DID NOT lose "literally everything".

Historically the British isles has always been invaded by other nations and has never had it own unique culture. What is unique that many cultures have been able to live together through choice or adversity. This was also accelerated by the mass migration created by the British empire to aid its trade industry. A great example is Fish & Chips, this only occurred by the fleeing Jews from Europe creating a financial incomes within their own homes serving the local working class. The world wars occurred and the British empire pulled its resources leading to more mass migration, including the post war era. It is amazing how one country has pulled so many cultures together, it is a shame that it has not been able to rid racial and gender inequality. Many communities try their best to create equality but there are individuals who migrate to the British isles who want to replicate their religious/conservative homeland view without consideration cultural evolution and respect. The British isles is always a work in progress, I hope that is always improving and not turning a blind eye

It didnt came overnight, balkan wars happened many times waay before yugoslavia was a thing, and as soon USA saw opportunity to stop communism in yugoslavia they started gettinng insane politicians out of prisons they were in and giving them all the resources to rise and create this madness. It was not an overnight thing, it was something that was done very tactifully and over the span of 15 years
